Year 9 students at Co-op Academy Walkden took the short trip to Bolton – to receive an award from the Mayor! The students came top in the North West Manchester Science and Technology Challenge Day!

Whilst students at Co-op Academy North Manchester may not have left their academy, they did travel upwards a fair distance as they took on the climbing wall as part of National School Sports Week.

To round off an incredible week for our academies, students at Co-op Academy Manchester travelled near and far as they visited the Science and Industry Museum as part of their Year 10 work placements. They also hit the road and headed for London, where they only went and won the Sustainable Futures Innovation Challenge!
