Liz is our trusts wonderful Primary Director of SEND who has worked to implement a system of assessing pupils with SEND for both diagnostic purposes and to allow their progress to be tracked. She has introduced specialist multi-sensory tuition to the trust and is now looking at inclusion within the classroom. Lis believes her role is about providing a service to her colleagues, pupils with SEND and their families; She is a strong advocate for each of these stakeholders, believing that, fulfilling our statutory duties, as outlined in the SEND Code of Practice (2015), is simply a by-product of doing what matters most for our learners with SEND and their families.
