James is our Director of English who expertly oversees the English curriculums in our primary and secondary academies across the entire Trust. His remits are school improvement, working with English departments in the trust to develop their curriculum sequence and the teaching & learning in English lessons. A significant element of his role is leading CPD for all English teachers, including those on our Co-op Academies Teacher Training Programme. James and Hannah are responsible for the planning and implementation of the ITT English subject knowledge courses as well as sitting on the English applications and interview panel.
