A Good Ofsted at Bebington, celebrated for their welcoming and kind community
Published 23/08/23Co-op Academy Bebington achieved Good across all areas in their recent Ofsted report.
The report’s opening summary describes Bebington as a school where 'pupils, and students in the sixth form, thrive. They know that leaders and teachers have high expectations of them and they rise to meet them'. It continues to praise the academic support given in which 'all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), benefit from an ambitious and carefully designed curriculum'.

Our Trust becomes 'Friendly WiFi Certified'
Published 22/08/23Our co-operative model allows us to build a network of educational academies that support local communities. Providing connectivity to our students and staff is an essential part of learning and accessibility. Gaining the Friendly Wifi Certification was a key move for us to provide a network in academies that filters out all inappropriate content. Whether it be indecent images and advertisements, this supports our commitment to keeping all students, staff and visitors safe online.

Reducing exclusions in partnership with Mission 44 and Sky

Our Trust and Oasis are receiving £450,000 each from Mission 44 and Sky’s ‘Preventing Exclusions Fund’. This will go towards piloting new innovative approaches to reduce exclusions across our schools.

Connell Co-op College student, Josh, on his way to study Paramedic Science
Published 18/08/23Year 13 student, Josh Evans, gets accepted to a highly competitive BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). With over 6,500 applicants, Josh is one of the 50 to make it onto the course.
